The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) is a public multidisciplinary reseach organization under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Eduction and Research. Founded in 1939 and run by scientists, its mission is to advance knowledge and be usefull to society, while respecting the rules of ethics, deontology and scientific integrity.
